About Me
Danielle Bitner is licensed in Pennsylvania as a Professional Counselor. She is also Nationally Certified, with going on 20 years of experience in the field of counseling. She earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University in 2006. Danielle’s counseling experience includes family and marriage, couples, individuals, community care, assessment of mental illnesses including depression and anxiety, as well as treatment of other mental health issues.
Her therapeutic approach is to guide clients from where they are
emotionally and help them to gain insight into themselves by learning and utilizing positive coping skills. She enjoys her work because she gets to see progress and watch clients transform into the person or couple that they want to be.
Danielle has clients of all ages. Often they come into therapy because of stress, feeling depressed and anxious, being on the verge of divorce, or using unhealthy coping skills. It can take a lot of hard work, but when the right steps are taken, she believes that people and their situations can change for the
better.
